Backsliders are Rob Hirst (Midnight Oil) and Dom Turner who have been touring the festival circuit and recording for 30 years. Their new album “Heathen Songbook” is their fourteenth to date and is slated for release this Friday, 5 August via Rocket Distribution. (The album is also available on iTunes).
The record is a varied and eclectic mix of strong blues and rock and includes the feature track “You’re Not Alone”.
The band are heading out on tour over the next four months across NSW and Victoria and also have a show scheduled in Darwin and the “Blues For The Bush” Festival in WA.
