‘The Devil’s Part’ video was directed and co-written by acclaimed Sydney filmmaker, Nils Crompton. The narrative takes a sinister turn, with allusions to indie classic The Virgin Suicides and spine-chilling cult references galore. With allusions to the occult, and the ease with which the band members play their roles – this could totally be a feature film! It would be obvious to say that this is a song about heartbreak. But it’s so much more than that. ‘The Devil’s Part’ is a story of the undeniably common relationship saga of falling for the wrong person. Again. And again. It’s a tale of two people; one who knew better, who is, and may always be, tempted by the devil.
