Los Angeles native Gallant delivered a career-defining performance earlier this year at Coachella, with Billboard claiming “Gallant’s Coachella set emerged as the weekend’s finest moment”. Now, in addition to being announced as a performer at Bluesfest 2017, Melbourne and Sydney will have the chance to witness this superstar on the rise for two exclusive sideshow dates. This will be the first time Gallant has performed in Australia.
Gallant, who describes his music as future soul, has had a meteoric rise since his first album ology, an innovative take on the alternative and urban music genres which received widespread praise and saw NME identifying Gallant as “the voice that will redefine R&B”. Current single Weight In Gold was handpicked by Zane Lowe as the inaugural ‘World’s First’ and ‘Single Of The Week’ on his Beats 1 show.
Gallant received worldwide attention when he joined Elton John on stage for his performance at the Apple Music Festival last month.
