Goldstein is turning 10 and throwing a party to celebrate.

The Adelaide-based folk rock band will toast the milestone on June 24 with a free entry birthday bash gig at the Wheatsheaf Hotel.

Goldstein will be taking a trip through the past decade playing the best material from their 5 LPs to date, recounting stories about the good, bad and ugly of life in a local original band as well as unwrapping some new material for their next album.

Goldstein is Adam Hooper (lead vocals, accordion, guitar), Ben Hooper (violin, mandolin), Robin Pratt (lead guitar), Paul Kolomitsev (bass) and Jeremy Owen (drums).  Since forming in 2006, Goldstein has notched up plenty of highlights including playing at major festivals across Australia, most recently at the 50th National Folk Festival in Canberra, and gaining national radio play. Along the way, the band has received high praise from the likes of Australian music legend John Schumann as well as ABC Radio presenter Peter Goers.

Goldstein’s 10-year birthday bash @ Wheatsheaf Hotel, Thebarton Friday June 24 with special guests. Free entry from 8.30pm.
