A completely independent, not-for-profit community radio station, PBS 106.7FM relies on listener support to stay in orbit. From May 15 to 28, the station is calling on all listeners to take One Small Step and sign up to join the constellation that is the PBS community.
PBS is a radio station dedicated to championing the universe of local, specialist and underrepresented music across Melbourne and (way) beyond. For the 2017 Radio Festival, all listeners who sign up to become a PBS sonic astronaut will join the space race to win one of our major prizes:
- A brand new, ride away, classic Primavera 125 red Vespa from Peter Stevens Motorcycles
- Funk Vector Turntable from audiophile
- A hand-crafted Maton SRS808C acoustic guitar with hard case
- A live music double pass to The Old Bar for 12 months

All members who sign up this year will receive an exclusive selection of music from PBS’ Studio 5 Live series, including tracks by The Peep Tempel, Broads, RVG, No Zu, Fred & Toody just to name a few. Plus, by becoming a Passionate member or higher, you’ll receive a special edition Radio Festival t-shirt designed by local artist Ellen Porteus.
