The first 49 artists for Womadelaide 2026, in Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla 6-9 March 2026, have been announced.
Artists include the iconic Yothu Yindi (AUS) celebrating 35 years of their Tribal Voice album, the soulful, poetic folk of Annahstasia (USA), the sublime Marlon Williams (NZ), Afro-funk, Fred again.. collaborator Obongjayar (Nigeria/UK), soul sensation Jalen Ngonda (USA/UK), the spiritual jazz of Ganavya(India/USA) and the exclusive Australian performances by the acclaimed Rosas(Belgium) with the iconic work that changed the face of contemporary dance, Rosas danst Rosas, by Anne Terese De Keersmaeker.
These artists join the recently announced Yolngu rapper and dancer Baker Boy, American singer-songwriter Iron & Wine, Irish folk band Beoga and ABC’sPacific Break winner Mantis from Vanuatu.
Returning in 2026 are WOMADelaide staples and favourites Taste the World – where artists are invited to cook dishes from home, the WoMarkets – a shaded hub of over 40 retail stalls; KidZone – hands-on arts activities for children; the Planet Talks sessions discussing environmental and other global issues and solutions and The Sanctuary Restaurant at Adelaide Zoo.
