Sean McMahon and the MoonMen
Sean McMahon and his band the MoonMen explore an eclectic blend of elements within blues, psychedelic country, folk, and rock’n’roll to deliver an exceptional set of songs, at times personal and reflective, at other times ambiguous and playful, full of melody and poetic lyricism.
“From stripped back casual charm to royally rocking, McMahon has built a bespoke musical home of his own”- Rhythms
A gorgeously warm release. Based in the country idiom but completely unafraid to meander down a myriad other paths – dalliances with rock, folk and pop – Shiner has properly unearthed a contender, Sean McMahon shown as a master of his craft. – Sydney Morning Herald
There is something reminiscent of Eels’ Mark Oliver Everret to McMahon’s vocal, and indeed were you to cross Eels with The Band you might have something resembling Shiner. – Beat

The Hello Morning
Melbourne six piece The Hello Morning are a sonic melting pot of soul, country and cosmic rock n roll. Their first album and following 2 EPs were met with critical acclaim and saw them spend the following years doing laps of the country supporting artists and playing festival dates. Coming out of an 18 month hiatus, the band are currently in the studio finishing off their second full-length album which continues to push sonic boundaries and sees the band remain committed to their left of centre approach to cosmic rock and roll.
