DASHVILLE EVENTS UPDATE

DASHVILLE SKYLINE 2017 DATES CONFIRMED

Dates for the annual Dashville Skyline music festival, a “Cosmic Country Weekender”, have been locked in. The celebration of alt-country, folk, Americana and psychedelia will return on September 29 to October 1, 2017 at its beloved home and name sake, Dashville in Hunter Valley NSW.

Now entering its third year, organisers are excited about the prospects of the highly regarded long weekend camping festival after such a positive outcome at the last instalment in 2016.

Dashville Skyline has quickly ingratiated itself into the calendars of music purists. It’s a celebration of not only current Australian and international songwriters and performers, but also a celebration of the legends that paved the way and inspired generations to come.

Featuring over 30 acts over three days, previous Dashville Skyline festivals have featured the likes of Holy Holy, Shane Nicholson, Brian Cadd, Olympia, Henry Wagons, Jordie Lane, The Wilson Pickers, William Crighton, Melody Pool, Bahamas (CA), The Brothers Comatose (US), and All Our Exes Live in Texas. The festival also features a myriad of other themed inclusions and proved a popular option for families looking for a laid back camping weekend away.

PIGSTY IN JULY TO TAKE HIATUS IN 2017

In other major Dashville news: PigSty in July, that indulgent winter bash that has been embraced by  many hedonists over the past few years, will be taking a break in 2017. Dashville anticipate to return the festival to the annual calendar, rejuvenated and festively plump in 2018.
