Mile Twelve, a Boston based Bluegrass band, will be embarking on an Australian tour this October.
With the members hailing from all around the United States, and one member from New Zealand, it will be the band’s first tour of Australia and New Zealand.
BB Bowness, who plays banjo in the band, elaborated on the announcement:
“I’ve been wanting to bring a full 5-piece bluegrass band back home for some time,” says Bowness. “The music is so exciting, and it’s not heard a lot outside of the USA. Booking the tour has been a huge undertaking, but it’ll all be worth it when we get to share the music with everyone.”
The Australian leg of the tour will be kicking off at The Spotted Mallard in Melbourne after a series of dates in New Zealand.
The tour will continue throughout October and into November.
