Organisers have tagged the event Let The Music Play On: “to ensure that we can still support our beloved musicians through the festival and bring the healing power of music to audiences around the globe.”
The event will be filmed on location in renowned venues like The Ryman Auditorium, The Continental Club, and the Great American Music Hall, as well as outdoor performances featuring the San Francisco, and Austin skylines. There will be newly-recorded performances from the likes of Yola, Shakey Graves, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock, Bonnie Raitt, Rhiannon Giddens, Boz Scaggs, Fantastic Negrito, Amythyst Kiah, Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris, along with many more.
