Melbourne On Dylan Film To Premiere at St Kilda Festival, June 4

The Australian premiere screening of Chris Franklin’s documentary Melbourne on Dylan is happening at the St Kilda Film Festival at 1pm – Sunday – June 4 at the Astor Theatre in St Kilda.

In the film Melbourne filmmaker, Chris Franklin interviews Melbourne artists, actors, commentators and even an astrophysicist of their emotional, spiritual and sometimes perplexed connection with Bob Dylan. Chris began this film project as a deep dive into Bob Dylan’s connection with Melbourne, Australia and soon realised during production, this was more than just a reflection on Bob’s music. This film explores the deep love of music we all have and the life changing moments that start us on the long journey of exploration and appreciation.
