ABOUT COREY LEGGE
Corey Legge plays heartfelt blues, rock and alt-country, drawing influence from growing up amongst the fertile pastures surrounding Bega (NSW). Now based in Wollongong (NSW), Corey has released three albums in three years, resulting in international radio airplay and a slew of support slots for high profile artists including Ash Grunwald, Dallas Frasca and Fanny Lumsden. Corey’s debut single ‘Driving out of Eden’ was shared by the legendary James Taylor, adding to the already considerably large buzz around Corey’s music and live show. Corey’s storytelling and guitar prowess are not to be missed.
In 2023, Corey recorded with multi-award-winning producer Nash Chambers at Kasey Chambers’ ‘Rabbit Hole Recording Studio’ and toured throughout Europe, with shows in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Corey recently performed stand out shows at the Melbourne Guitar Show and West Australian Guitar Festival, where he was a featured artist in the blues showcase. Corey was also recently a Top 10 finalist in the renowned 2023 Gympie Music Muster Talent Search.
Following on from the highly successful single ‘Friday Nights’ (which cracked 20,000 streams on Spotify in 2 months), Corey released a brand new single ‘West Coast’ on Friday 12th January 2024. Corey’s 4th studio album is set for release in mid-2024, which will be followed by a European and Australian album launch tour.
