Beasts Set To Launch New Album and Celebrate With Melbourne & Sydney Gigs

January 9, 2025: Armed with a new album under their belts, The Beasts are set to perform TWO special performances in Melbourne & Sydney next month to celebrate their latest full-length studio release, Ultimo…and if all goes well, with the one & only Mr James Baker at the helm –  there may be more shows added to the mix.

For those who caught The Beasts last year on their national sold-out Alive tour, featuring surviving Beasts of Bourbon members James Baker, Tex Perkins, Kim Salmon, Boris Sujdovic and Charlie Owen, you know you’re in for a dirty RNR fuelled treat when this legendary rock outfit hits the stage.

The Beasts live in February:

Friday February 21 – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne VIC | TICKETS

Saturday February 22 – The Manning Bar, Sydney NSW | TICKETS

‘Ultimo’ features nine fresh new songs, with songwriting contributions from Baker, Salmon,  Perkins and Sujdovic. The album showcases the band at their peak and serves (with this line-up) as the final chapter, as the title suggests.

Accompanying the new studio album, featuring a self-portrait by James Baker on the cover, is ‘The Beasts Alive’. Recorded across two sold out nights during the 40th Anniversary of the Beasts of Bourbon shows at Sydney’s Factory Theatre and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom in April 2023, this 11-track live recording includes a collection of Beasts’ classics & fan favourites (none of which appeared on the Limited Edition 5-track 45RPM 12” ‘be suburban’ which quickly sold out).

‘Ultimo’ & ‘The Beasts Alive’, is available digitally, and as a limited edition double gate folded Vinyl release (with ‘Ultimo’ on RED vinyl) via Slick Productions / MGM Distribution.
