ARCHIE ROACH SHARES BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE OF THE NEW ALBUM LET LOVE RULE (OUT 11 NOVEMBER) + MELBOURNE HEADLINE PERFORMANCE ON 29 OCTOBER

Archie Roach has just returned from his first European tour in over a decade.

Standing ovations were commonplace during the three week tour, which included a stellar performance with Tommy Emmanuel at the Interceltique Festival de Lorient in Brittany, France. Archie also performed two very special shows at the Famous Spiegeltent at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and visited Monaco for the very first time to sing at the Musee de Oceangraphique de Monaco surrounded by the TABA NABA exhibition celebrating the art of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and PNG artists and communities.

And in a rare moment of rest and downtime during the tour, Archie took the opportunity to visit the Scottish Highlands (near Glencoe), visiting Loch Lomond to fulfil a wish to his foster father, the late Alexander Cox.

With his new album ‘Let Love Rule’ scheduled for release in just four weeks on Friday 11 November (through Liberation Music), Archie will be performing one very special Melbourne-only album preview concert in the beautiful Elisabeth Murdoch Hall at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Saturday 29 October.

Archie’s special guests for this performance will be one of Australia’s emerging Indigenous singer-songwriters, Corey Theatre and The Dhungala Children’s Choir, a program aimed at empowering Indigenous schoolchildren in years 4, 5 and 6 through singing, song writing, visual arts and storytelling.

Narrated by the inimitable Uncle Jack Charles, Archie has also just shared an exclusive eleven minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of his much anticipated new album.
