The inaugural Australian Music Week Film Festival will take place this October as an accompanying part of the Australian Music Week conference.
Festival Programmer Larry Heath elaborated on the festival in the announcement:
“We’re thrilled to debut a brand new Australian film festival with such a vibrant selection of music focused films from all over the world. We received thousands of submissions, and our only regret is that we couldn’t fit more into the program. I hope everyone finds the time to come out and be the first in Australia – and in some cases the world – to see these powerful and important works.”
The event will continue over three nights in Cronulla.
The focus of the event will range from music, to women in music, international and Australian films, to special guest film makers and much more.
There will also be Q&A’s at select sessions.
