The Aviary Sessions announces the release of ‘Warm Evenings, Pale Mornings’ – Out November 22, 2016
Fraser Montgomery, at The Aviary Recording Studio and Creative Hub, has created a wonderful project to celebrate Melbourne’s incredible scene of songwriters and musicians. He assembled a gang of Melbourne’s finest to record an album, straight to 2″ tape, where each artist covered another artist’s song. Every artist arranged and interpreted the song in their own way, brought it to the house band on the day and recorded it. It’s a bit great, ain’t it?!
The album is now available as a limited edition vinyl, to pre-order through Pledge from September, with a launch show happening in Melbourne on December 8, 2016 at The Gasometer Hotel.
