The Byron Bay Guitar Festival (BBGF) is returning on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October 2018 at the Byron Bay Brewery for its second year. The brand new local festival has impressed audience and industry alike with its two-day line up.
Headlining this year’s event is Aussie chart-topping alt-rockers British India who are celebrating their tenth year and sixth album ‘Forgetting the Future’; Ash Grunwald and Dallas Frasca.
Byron Bay Brewery will enjoy musical treats with “riff-rocking blues kings” The Fumes, local rep from legend Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), Hussy Hicks, Australian blues guitar master Lloyd Spiegel, Melbourne acoustic duo Opal Ocean, returning favourite from last year The Jimi Hendrix Show with Steve Edmonds, special appearances from Byron Bay High School students, and many more.
Produced by Byron Music, the event features 29 + live performances on two stages, as well as a Guitar Market showcasing some amazing instruments and craftsmanship from some of the world’s favourite manufacturers including Fender, VOX, Yamaha and more, workshops and seminars presented by artists and manufacturers, and of course the delicious food and beverage on offer throughout the festival thanks to Byron Bay Brewery.
