All Our Exes Live In Texas Premiere Tame Impala Cover + National Supports Announcement

Sydney’s stunning folk quartet All Our Exes Live In Texas recently announced the release of their debut album When We Fall, which includes their latest single ‘The Devil’s Part’, due for release March next year.  To celebrate the release of the single the ladies are about to make tracks all over the country, kicking off their national tour in Darwin this Friday October 7.

While you wait – perhaps not-so-patiently, the Exes have put together a haunting cover of Tame Impala’s spine tingling single ‘Eventually’. Premiering on Impose Magazine in the US, the cover features one lonely accordion and the angelic voices of all four women in perfect harmony.

After stunning audiences in Ireland and the UK, it was announced today that the Exes have been shortlisted for the 2016 Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, chosen from 2,412 applicants across 20 different countries. The ladies join the likes of Client Liaison, Emma Louise, Gordi, Katrina Burgoyne, King Social, Louis Schoorl and Oh Pep for the incredible $50,000 first prize courtesy of APRA AMCOS and Alberts.

Joining the Exes at Oxford Arts Factory is ‘Australia’s answer to Americana’ Fanny Lumsden & The Thrillseekers, alongside Miss Eileen & King Lear who will also be joining the girls on the road for their NSW and QLD dates in Kootomba, Newcastle, Milton, Brisbane and Eumundi. Brisbane singer-songwriter Clea will be on accompanying support duties at their Brisbane show, playing her hit single ‘Polyster’ and new single ‘Crimson and Clover’. Making the trip to WA and playing a hometown show in TAS is Christopher Coleman, with his sophomore album Ah, Winter comfortably in his back pocket. The ever-so-smooth, with a side of sin Melbourne based singer Molo Juju will be joing the ladies at Caravan and the Northcote Social, alongside WOMANZ.

And to wrap up the tour, Madrid via Melbourne singer-songwriter Aaron Thomas will be joing the Exes on stage in Adelaide.
