First Artist Announcement for Final Bluesfest

Bluesfest Byron Bay have announced the first wave of twenty artists who will perform at the 36th and final Bluesfest in 2025.

Topping the announcement is Crowded House who will return to Bluesfest to headline on Saturday night. Also performing on Saturday will be Australian singer/songwriter Vance Joy who is also making a return to Bluesfest. Ocean Alley known for their smooth grooves and psychedelic rock sound will be performing on Thursday. Global chart-topper Tones & I will be making her Bluesfest debut to headline Thursday night. Other local artists in the first announcement included Brad Cox, Pierce Brothers, WILSN and Fanny Lumsden.

International artists announced include Grammy award winning US bluesman Gary Clark Jr, UK Neo-Blues soul superstar Rag’n’Bone Man, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Canadian storyteller Allison Russell.

Also announced as making exclusive appearances for Bluesfest are Chicago-based singer/songwriter Neal Francis, and Cuban afro-funk artist Cimafunk.
