Jason Isbell has announced the release of his first entirely solo acoustic album, Foxes in the Snow, set for release March 7 via his own Southeastern Records.
Foxes in the Snow was recorded in New York City at the famed Electric Lady Studios in October, 2024. Recorded entirely on the same all-mahogany 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar, and in the span of just five days.
This will be Isbell’s first album without longstanding backing band The 400 Unit in ten years, since 2015’s Something More Than Free. Isbell continues to tour with The 400 Unit, including upcoming September 2025 shows in Australia supporting Paul Kelly.
