John Butler Margaret River Frack Off! Concert sold out Second event announced

As reported last Wednesday, Musician John Butler announced a massive Frack Off! Concert on Saturday 26th November in Margaret River to raise awareness about the onshore gas industry in WA’s Southwest and fracking throughout the state.

A second concert event is announced today to take place the following day, Sunday November 27th at the same location, 3 Oceans Winery, , located between Busselton and Margaret River on the Bussell Highway. Tickets are on sale from

The lineup will replicate the first event with John Butler Trio joined by Broome locals The Pigram Brothers, Margaret River dwellers Mama Kin and Ten Cent Shooters with renowned Perth actor Peter Rowsthorn to MC the event.

Several speakers will address the crowd at the FRACK OFF! Concerts including Dayne Pratzky, star of the documentary ‘Frackman’, who will explain the impact of living on the frontline of the Queensland gas fields, along with Lisa Chatwin Spokesperson for Gasfield Free Southwest, spokesperson for Lock the Gate in WA Jane Hammond and Frack Free Future campaign coordinator Jules Kirby.

Monies raised from ticket sales and from donations will go towards concert costs and the continued fight against invasive Onshore Gas Mining in WA. Artists are providing their services free and other services are being provided at reduced rates.
