After a scintillating series of dates in New Orleans, New York City, Paris, London, Bern, and Milan, and with a stunning live album released, Judith Owen featuring The Gentlemen Callers will return to Australian shores for the first time since March 2020’s sold out performance at the Sydney Opera House. The 2025 Tour is now adding Melbourne and Sydney to the growing list of cities around the globe, succumbing to the brilliance of Judith Owen’s live performances.
Judith and her incredible six-piece band of world-class musicians will perform at Melbourne’s Paris Cat Jazz Club on June 18.
At the Hayden Orpheum in Sydney on June 21, the performance will feature a special guest, Australian jazz virtuoso James Morrison, who will perform alongside Judith and perform some of his incredible repertoire with Judith’s band.

Judith will also return to the globally renowned Adelaide Cabaret Festival, which is celebrating 25 years, with performances on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14th.
The new album, ‘Comes Alive,’ was recorded at Marian’s Jazzroom in Bern, Switzerland, and is a 16-track masterclass by Owen and her band, culminating in an extraordinary performance, with The Times in London claiming it as one of their albums of the year.

Joining Judith on tour is a remarkable ensemble of internationally acclaimed musicians otherwise known as The Callers, featuring: Australian David Blenkhorn on guitar (Cecile McLorin Salvant, Jon Faddis, Lee Konitz), David Torkanowsky on piano (Astral Project, Dianne Reeves); Kevin Louis on cornet (The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Jimmy Heath); Ricardo Pascal on saxophone (The Modern Jazz Generation, Dee Dee Bridgewater); Jamison Ross ondrums (Grammy Award winner) (Snarky Puppy, Dr. John); and Lex Warshawsky on double bass (Adonis Rose Ensemble).
James Morrison, who has played with Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, George Benson, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, B.B. King and Wynton Marsalis and played some of the world’s best jazz clubs – Birdland, The Blue Note and Village Vanguard in New York and Ronnie Scott’s in London, James Morrison is one of Australia’s most outstanding music exports.
