Saturday November 12 – McNamara Park Broke
There’s just 2 weeks till the Hunter Valley’s Folk In Broke on Saturday November 12.
Featuring acts across multiple genres including high energy Afro-fusion band Bakoomba, funky roots & reggae act Black Bird Hum, who’ve been in the news lately, Folk icon Liz Stringer, plus their very own busking comp co-winner & Australia’s Got Talent winner Fletcher Pilon, it’s sure to be an amazing day & night right in the heart of Broke Village at McNamara Park.
The festival will also include last year’s very popular Busk Stop & in a nod to all great folk festivals there will be a Poet’s Corner for those wordsmiths amongst the crowd. Another fantastic addition to the festival is an African Dance Workshop prior to Bakoomba closing out the festival.
The festival will once again team up with Sacred Tree Markets to offer up great food & markets stalls & there will be a licensed bar on site serving beer & wine.
Tickets are just $85 + booking fee & there is abundant free camping at McNamara Park for the entire weekend. Kids 12 & under are free.
