Australian musician Marcia Howard has announced a set of shows in Melbourne and Geelong to launch her upcoming studio album Everything Reminds Me.

Everything Reminds Me is Howard’s fifth studio album, and following the release of her EP Nashville Sessions, Howard is paying tribute to her musical family on the upcoming album.

Marcia elaborated in the announcement about the album’s connection to her mother:

“My mother died three years ago so this is a homage to her as well,” Marcia says. “She was a musician and a singer as well, a piano player as well and I play a lot of piano on this album. She was the biggest musical influence on my life, and I loved her dearly. I’m really grateful that I’ve come through such a musical family.”

Growing up in a musical family, Marcia Howard is an experienced musician having spent time in Australian rock band Goanna with her brother, Shane Howard.

Marcia Howard was also a Top 8 finalist on The Voice in 2016.

Marcia Howard will be performing at the Thornbury Theatre on October 7, and at the Geelong Workers Club on October 6.
