The annual Americana extravaganza that is Out on the Weekend returns to a refurbished Seaworks in Williamstown on Saturday October 12 and has just announced more acts to add to the line-up.
Making her first appearance down under, Nashville breakout star MARGO PRICE and her band will be joined by the legendary Swamp Fox himself, TONY JOE WHITE, hot on the heels of his new album Bad Mouthin’.
For the first time since the 80s, White will be backed by a full band featuring local legends Pete Luscombe (Paul Kelly, Rockwiz and more), Bill McDonald and Bruce Haymes.
Also venturing over is banjo slingin’ singer-songwriter, and founding member of the legendary Old Crow Medicine Show, WILLIE WATSON.
Two up and coming Americana acts have also been added in COURTNEY MARIE ANDREWS and a staple of the Nashville independent music scene with the every irreverent, dangerous and raunchy two piece female duo in BIRDCLOUD.
The local contingent is also stacked this year as well, with a reunited WAGONS performing for the first time in almost four years along with THE RECHORDS, EMILEE SOUTH, DAN PARSONS, THE CARTRIDGE FAMILY, GEORGIA STATE LINE, DAVEY CRADDOCK, THE WEEPING WILLOWS, and many more to be announced!
