Australian musician Jordan Merrick has had a successful year, and is officially releasing the new track ‘Travellin’ tomorrow.
Merrick released his debut EP In Colour earlier this year and toured it on the East Coast of Australia. His previous singles ‘Untitled #1’ and ‘You Gotta Go’ achieved national success.
‘Travellin’, Merricks latest single, is an ode to the ‘nomadic nature of life and love’. The announcement elaborated on how Merrick has combined his Australian style with legendary inspiration:
“With a wonderful ability to create a sound that is relevant to the modern listener, yet reminiscent of a completely different time, Merrick has an Australian heart like Paul Kelly, passion like Xavier Rudd, but a sound inspired by legends of folk such as Bob Dylan.”
