Local music legend and ARIA Hall of Famer, RUSSELL MORRIS, follows up his recently announced ARIA Award nomination, today revealing national tour dates to kick off at the Satellite Lounge in Victoria on Sunday 16th October, and including special appearances alongside Rodriguez and Jimmy Barnes in November and December.
Russell last week claimed a nod for Best Blues & Roots Album for his stunning release ‘Red Dirt – Red Heart’, alongside lauded local artists Jimmy Barnes, The Cat Empire, The Wilson Pickers and Kev Carmody. This marks his third consecutive nomination in the ARIA Best Blues & Roots Album grouping, after taking out the category in 2013 with his acclaimed release ‘Sharkmouth’, which became the highest-selling Australian album of 2013.
On return to Australia, Russell will hit the road, taking the songs and stories of his Australiana trilogy to music lovers across the country.
