Karin Page is today premiering her brand-new single, ‘Lonely Night’ on Rhythms.
Listen to the track now!
Page’s ‘Lonely Night’ was inspired by her time touring Australia, with her caravan and partner.
The announcement elaborated on how this has impacted her music.
“Karin’s nomadic lifestyle has deeply affected her music, which now bears all the character of the endless Australian road. Needless to say, this has made Karin very popular with country, folk and blues & roots fans,” the announcement read.
Speaking about the single in the announcement, Page said:
“I wrote this song whilst I was touring in a caravan around Australia. I realised that so many of us portray this “perfect life” on social media, yet so many of us struggle with mental health issues and often feel lonely inside. As an artist I am constantly surrounded by many people, but often feel alone so I wanted the listener to find comfort in knowing that we all experience ebbs and flows and that no-one is ever as alone as they think they are.”
Karin Page will showcase this new track on her upcoming tour, which will take her across Australia from August through to September.
