After a busy and productive year, singer-songwriter Rob Snarski and legendary Go-Betweens drummer Lindy Morrison returned to Yikesville Studio, Victoria with their musician pals in SnarskiCircusLindyBand to record their second mini album ‘I Know I Know’ which is available now.
The new release sees further collaborations between Snarski and Morrison as Lindy puts pen to paper and Rob finds melodies to swirl and spin their way through “My Sweetheart Always Comes Back” “Somewhere, Sometime” and “Parapet” the later, a Custard-esque slice of guitar pop featuring guitarist/producer Shane O’Mara on lead vocals. Opener “I Don’t Think I’ll Ever Sleep With You Again” is an answer song to “Since I Slept With You Everybody Wants to Sleep With Me” from their 2023 mini-LP “Someone Said, That Someone Said”. Completing the SnarskiCircusLindyBand line-up are ‘Evil’ Graham Lee (The Triffids) on pedal steel, guitar, and lead vocals on ‘Watching Re-Runs on My TV’, and Dan Kelly (Paul Kelly band) on bass and backing vocals.
As with their first release, SnarskiCircusLindyBand includes guest appearances from Australian music luminaries including Jack Howard (Hunters & Collectors) on trumpet, Amanda Brown (Go-Betweens) on violin and Rebecca Barnard on backing vocals.
