VIDEO PREMIERE: Lachlan Bryan – ‘Dugdemona’

Lachlan Bryan’s new clip ‘Dugdemona’ is being premiered on Rhythms – watch now!

Melbourne’s urban-country gentleman and all round charmer Lachlan Bryan is about to embark on a highly collaborative summer.

The high end activity coincides with the single and video release for ‘Dugdemona’  from the Golden Guitar nominated album, The Mountain.

Gareth Hipwell notes “The famed jazz capital (of New Orleans)  lives and breathes in languorous Bourbon Street fever-dream single ‘Dugdemona.”

“New Orleans has become our ‘home ground’ when we’re in America,” Lachlan explains. “Because we’ve now spent more time there than anywhere else in the States, it’s also the place we’ve encountered the most music. That was really influential in the writing process for The Mountain.”

Fresh off the national tour bus, which he’s shared of late with Shane Nicholson, Bill Chambers and most recently Henry Wagons, Lachlan is headed to the USA in December where he’ll be playing a few select shows and bunkering down in the studio with young New Orleans jazz/roots act The Roamin’ Jasmine.

Upon his return to Australia, Lachlan will embark on his most action-packed Tamworth Country Music Festival ever.

Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes will headline the annual Americana in the Park concert on festival Monday – an event which celebrates the growing Americana and alt-country music culture and community in Tamworth.

The band will also feature as part of a triple act alt-country show on Friday January 27th with Imogen Clark and Jenny Queen.

Lachlan will perform solo alongside Felicity Urquart and Luke O’Shea on the evening Tuesday January 24th for the Songhouse Sessions, and will join Kevin Bennett later in the week for The Scullion Sessions.

At midday on Wednesday January 25th, Lachlan will join ARIA winner Shanley Del for a special concert that will mark Del’s return to country music and the festival. The show will take place at the new Frog and Toad Listening Room and will feature an all-star band including Glenn Hanna, James Gillard, Scott Hills and Damian Cafarella.
