Today Out On The Weekend, has announced playing times for this Saturday’s festival that celebrates and embraces the Alt-Country and the Americana genre. The event takes place for it’s third year at the picturesque Seaworks on the shores of Port Phillip Bay in Williamstown.
Also announced are two very special Merle Haggard Tribute Shows with Robert Ellis, Joshua Hedley, Joe Pug and special guests taking part. These shows will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at Gardel’s Bar at Porteno, Sydney and Sunday, October 23 at The Curtin in Melbourne.
The Cactus Blossoms, who will bring their stunning harmonies and timeless style with them, will be doing two headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. They will be 0n Tuesday, October 18 at Gardel’s Bar at Porteno, Sydney and Thursday, October 20 at The Curtin, Melbourne.
Tickets for shows at Gardel’s Bar at Porteno are available at the door, and the shows at The Curtin are free.
Headlining Out On The Weekend in 2016 will be multiple award winning New Zealand singer-songwriter Marlon Williams & the Yarra Benders. This will be Marlon’s first appearance at the festival, and it will also be his only Melbourne performance for the rest of 2016. He will be joined by Robert Ellis & The Perfect Strangers, Lindi Ortega, Joe Pug, Joshua Hedley, The Cactus Blossoms, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, All Our Exes Live In Texas, Tracy McNeil & The GoodLife, The Stetson Family & Bakersfield Glee Club plus Grand Ole Twang Broadcasting Live Celebrating 20 Years of 3RRR Twang.
